WENDELL MOBLEY

To simply state that Wendell Mobley is a successful songwriter would truly be an understatement.  His songs have continuously climbed the charts and set-up camp in the number one slot for months at a time.

Wendell got his start in Celina, Ohio while writing and playing guitar for a local band. He later decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee to continue his pursuit of songwriting after a number of local artists began expressing interest in his music and performing his songs around town. Once he arrived in Nashville, he earned a living by playing guitar for Jack Green and eventually went on to play for the legendary group Alabama.  Wendell never stopped writing, however, and after scoring a major cut by Kenny Rogers, he decided to stop touring and become a full-time writer.

Popular songs such as “I Melt” and “Fast Cars and Freedom by Rascal Flatts, along with “There Goes My life” and “How Forever Feels” by Kenny Chesney are just a few of the award-winning songs that have made Mobley a hot commodity here in Nashville. Other reputable artists such as Alabama, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Rogers, Edwin McCain, Trace Adkins, Lonestar, Montgomery Gentry, Trisha Yearwood, John Michael Montgomery, and Julianne Hough have also recorded songs by this talented writer.

Even after all the success Wendell has experienced in songwriting, he has never lost his passion to perform and has been seen with frequent co-writer, Neal Thrasher, opening for Rascal Flatts throughout this past year.

He has definitely lived the life every aspiring songwriter only dreams of living.  We are certainly proud and honored to make our small contribution to Wendell’s amazing career.
