Christopher Stevens is an American Grammy-nominated Nashville, Tennessee record producer, mix-engineer, and songwriter. His most notable achievements to date include production and mixing for Grammy-winning CCM artist TobyMac, production, programming, and mixing for country artists Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, American Idol finalist, Mandisa, as well as production, writing and mixing for numerous artists under the EMI CMG, Word Records, Provident, INO Records, Gotee Records, and Curb Records labels. Stevens is credited with programing and keyboards on the Carrie Underwood single "Cowboy Casanova". In 2010, Chris was honored as BMI's Christian Songwriter of the Year, and received two new grammy nominations for production on TobyMac's album, "Tonight," and Sanctus Real's album "Pieces Of A Real Heart." Overall, Chris has earned seven Dove Awards (and more than 10 nominations), 4 Grammy nominations, and seen more than 2 million units sold by artists that he has produced, written with, or had a major hand in. He has produced more than a dozen top 10 contemporary christian hits, and has quickly gained a reputation for producing that elusive radio "hit" that artists are after. All of these achievements were in less than 5 years time. Good thing Chris decided to make the move from Eugene, Oregon and head southeast to music city - Nashville, Tennessee.
